Dear cousins,

So sad to hear of Marie's passing. I hold many fond memories of our childhood in Tracy so many years ago. I called her when my mother, Gertie, was being treated for a massive stroke in Modesto; that's when I learned of her illness.

You are all always in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless and keep you all,

Your cousin, Tommy

Dear Cousins,

So sad to hear of my dear cousin's passing. Our childhoods in Tracy carry fond and warm memories. I called her when my mother, Gertie, was being treated for a massive stroke in Modesto, and I didn't think mom would make it. That's when I learned of her illness. Our prayers and thoughts are always with you. We saw uncle Ed when Dad passed away last September. It's been a tough time for the old Silveira clan. Joe Silvers wife June died this year, too.

God bless always,
Your cousin Tommy

Dear children of Marie:

I too have nice memories of your mother. There's nothing I can say about her that you don't already know. She was a great person to work with. She made coming to work pleasant. She had alot of spunk. She would give teachers a hard time when they came to pick up their lunch. (in a kidding way of course)It was really fun to watch her in action.LOL. We laughed alot when we talked about life and family. She had a great sence of humor. She loved the children and they loved her. I'll always cherish our friendship. She will be greatly missed. I feel the only thought of encouragement I can leave you with, is to let you know what I believe. Marie is just in a state of sleep. These verses are what gives me comfort knowing that I'll see her soon when Jesus returns. 1Thessalonians 4:16 and Ecclesiastes 9:5,6.

May God be with you and your family always.

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by.

To my Va, my mother and mentor. Words can not express the gratitude and love I hold for you in my heart. You are remarkable in so many ways that I can only inspire to be half the women you are. You were always my rock of strength when I was weak. My helping hand when I needed guidance. You were my shoulder to cry on. My courage when I had none. You were the very joy of my smile and when we were together life was the sweetest gift a girl could have. You showed me pressistance, dedication, patience, loyality and most of all you showed me love. You gave so much of yourself and expected so little in return. I am lucky to have had you in my life, and though one lifetime may not be enough, I am convinced that any amount of time would never sufice. Thank you for the gift of inspiration, hope and faith for the future still to come. You hold a place in my heart above all others. I love you. See you when I get there.
Your granddaughter, Mary

Dear children of Marie,

We too have very nice memories of your mother. We always enjoyed each other's company when we encountered your mom and dad at certain social functions. Your mom was a special lady and we were very sorry to hear of her death and sorry we were not able to visit her during her illness, as we were not even aware that she was sick.

Our sympathy goes out to all of you and we pray that she is in God's peace and with your dad.

My loving Mother, I am so blessed to have had you for a mom. I will never forget all the beautiful memories of our childhood. I thank you for teaching me what love is and will carry you in my heart everyday for the rest of my life. Gabby will always remember her VaVa as a loving and fun grandmother! Besides showing me how to be a good mother myself I will never forget those big blue eyes and how much you enjoyed life! Words cannot express the awesome memories running through my mind but I will cherish them forever! I know you are happy now with no pain and with your love, our dad. I'll love you forever until I see you again, Love LoLo

My Beautiful Mom, I love and miss you so much. Thank you for being such a loving and patient Mom, especially when I needed it the most in my younger years ;). Thank you for giving Tony such vivid memories of his Va. He loved to make sure you were watching "The Race" and always wanted to make sure you knew what channel The Sharks were playing on. He said. "Va's so cool because she likes racing and hockey!" I will miss being able to call you "Cookie" and hearing you laugh. I find some comfort knowing that you are no longer suffering. I know that you are with Dad and have found peace. I am honored to be your Daughter and blessed with all of the memories you have left behind. They will be kept close at heart and you will never be forgotten. I love you!
Love,Joanne
