Mel Powers passed away in Modesto on April 20, 2012 at the age of 94. He is survived by son Dan (Donna), granddaughters Blythe (David) Brown, Megan (Clinton) Goblirsch, grandson Michael, 4 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Thelma Joseph and Billie Ruth Wall.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elsie, his parents Bill and Maggie Powers and sister Lucille Oetken.
No service held at his request. Arrangements by Eaton Family Funeral Service.
