Melvin Wayne Roberson went to be with our Lord on March 23, 2013. He was born on November 27, 1934 in Oklahoma. He came to California in 1960 with his wife, Mildred, and their children. He was a printer for most of his life and retired from Stanislaus County Office of Education. He loved to fish, golf, and bowl and enjoyed his many friends at McHenry Bowl. He and Mildred attended First Baptist Church in Modesto and looked forward to their Sundays there. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Lillian Roberson, and his wife Mildred Ruth Roberson. Melvin is survived by his children Darrell Roberson (Patti), Lynette Larson (Mike), Spencer Roberson (Toni), and Brenda Myers (Monte). He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, his sisters, Nadine, Florene, Joretta, Claudetta and his brother Donny. He will be greatly missed. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Burwood Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, Hughson, Ca.
