Mike Reed Obituary

Mike Reed passed away on September 9, 2025, in Hughson, California, with his loving wife and oldest grandson at his side. He was born on February 1, 1954, and lived a life rooted in faith, family, and farming.

From a young age, Mike worked alongside his father raising Shorthorn cattle and cultivating the land-a passion that would define much of his life. His dedication to agriculture was recognized early when he earned the prestigious American Farmer Degree, a testament to his commitment and hard work in the field.

Mike's strong faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He held an unwavering belief in the promise of eternal life and found comfort in knowing he would be reunited with loved ones who had gone before him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Shirley Reed and his son Danny Gray Reed.

He is survived by his wife Cyndy Reed his daughter Angela McCormick his son Floyd Gray his brother Raymond Reed (Valarie). 10 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services are 11/22/2025 starting with an open graveside service at 10 a.m. at Lakewood Cemetery 900 Santa Fe Ave Hughson Ca followed by a Celebration of life and Lunch at 11 a.m. Denair Community Center 3850 N Gratton Rd Denair.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in memory of Mike Reed to Denair FFA/Ag Boosters Earl Reed School Farm PO Box 574 Denair Ca 95316 or to New Life Christian Church PO Box 782, Turlock, CA 95381.
