N. Pergrem Obituary
N. KENNETH PERGREM
N. Kenneth Pergrem, 74; a former resident of Modesto, died Saturday, November 1, in Fremont. Interment will be at Brush Creek Cemetery in his hometown of Divernon, Illinois. A Memorial Service is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, at Centenary United Methodist Church, at 2:30 pm.
He had resided in Modesto from 1980 to 2002, was a former member of the United States Marine Corps, and was the General Sales Manager for the California Vegetable Concentrates division of General Foods Corporation, until his retirement in 1990.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Isabelle E. Pergrem. He is survived by his sister, JoAnn Roof of Mezzolombardo, Italy; and his son, Kenneth R. Pergrem of Fremont. The family prefers that remembrances be sent to Centenary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, or to Inter-Faith Ministries.
