Dear Silveira Family,
You're mother was a beautiful person inside and out. She was so kind-hearted and giving to those in need and suffering. God, family, and cooking were her great joys in life. She welcomed all of her children's friends into her home and made them feel like part of her family. I'll never forget her sweet bread, filhoes, pies.....the list could go on and on! No one ever left hungry from her home. I remember in high school crossing the street at lunchtime (hoping not to get caught by Mr. Day) with little Olivia and company to join her mother for tuna and apple sandwiches while watching "All My Children". Olivia's wise insight, spiritual guidance and counsel could always be counted on in times of trouble. After Sunday mass, the San Francisco Chronicle was always around for weekly horoscope reading over Esauro's homemade hamburgers and french fries. Life moved on, we all grew up and moved on with life, but we never forgot a person and a home that we could return to visit - bringing cherries from Bena's in Stockton and figs from the ranch - some of her favorite fruits.
Rest now, you're work on earth is complete. No longer an Angel of earth, but heaven.
God Bless You All,
Rosemarie Alberta Melo

So very sorry to hear about your beautiful Mother. What a terrible loss to all of you. Connie, I can't imagine how you are feeling. I know that you have God with you and he will give you great comfort. What a wonderful thing to know your parents are together again and in such a beautiful place with our Heavenly Father. Your Mom was so sweet, pretty, great cook, Mother, Grandmother and a Lady. Oh, the things we tried to pull over on her. I will never forget the first time we met and how I went to Northmead School with both of you at 6 or 7 years old to help you register. Marching in the Festas as your side maid and all of our sleepovers. I thank God for my dear friends and you are my oldest and first friend. To all of the Silveira's my deepest sympathy and love, you are such a wonderful family.
God Bless you and love to all,
Karen Reza Grimes
