Ray will be greatly missed. We have years of wonderful memories of Ray & Betty being our friends and mentors. It is good to know that this is not good-by because we will see him again. We rejoice is that promise from God. What an Easter morning Ray will have! Praise the Lord!

It was years ago that I worked with Mr. Langley at Sears and Roebuck. That's when Sears was downtown on 10th Street. It was my first job (part-time), I was 16 and I was the switchboard operator. I sat right outside of Mr. Langley's office. He truly was the best boss a 16 yr old could have and be mentored by at such a young age. One might think that because he was the "boss", he'd be feared. But not Mr. Langley. When that tall, gentle man walked into the office, he was always soft spoken, kind, professional, understanding, patient, good hearted and insistant that I do my homework in between answering the calls. Throughout my career, it was Mr. Langley's professionalism and work ethic that I looked for in the work environment.
There aren't many people that have left a life long impression on me. However, I have ALWAYS, thought of and credited Mr. Langley with being a major factor in who I am professionally. He led by example and for a then 16 year old young lady, first time in the work environment, I can't say enough of what that truly meant.
To Mr. Langley's family, I offer you my prayers and condolences. You have much to be proud of. He was truly a great man and may he now, rest in sweet heavenly peace.

The first day we moved to Modesto Ray met with us and helped Dan find a job with Stanislaus Implement. He was a mentor and a Godly man. Blessings on all the family and we know you will have great memories of him.
