Modesto, California - Ricardo Ramirez Guzmán passed away at home surrounded by his family on December 1, 2023, at the age of 85 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Bette Guzmán (née Ingram) of Modesto, CA; son, Ron Guzmán (Carol) of Seattle, WA; daughters Victoria McConn of Helena, Alabama, Rebecca Beeler (Mike) of Modesto, and Rochelle Moreno (Mario) of Modesto as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Ricardo will be remembered for many things (see franklindownsfuneralhome.com for more details), but especially for his love and devotion to his wife Bette, family, friends, and his exceptional service to the U.S. military and his country. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on December 14 at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home McHenry Chapel in Modesto. Military burial honors will be held on December 15 at the San Joaquin National Veterans Cemetery.
