modesto, California - Robert E. Lee, 82, passed away Sat., April 8, 2023, due to a brief illness. He was followed 5 days later by his twin, Roger Lee. Bob had lived in Modesto,CA for the past 9 yrs. Bob was born August 7, 1940, to Clifford and Myrtle Lee, in Los Angeles. Bob came from a Norwegian, Lutheran family. He grew up in North Hollywood and Modesto. Bob went to Downey HS, in Modesto, and got his BA in Business, from Fresno State. Bob married Linda Broden. They had 2 children, Lynette and Eric, plus 2 granddaughters, Rachel and Miranda. Over the years, Bob worked as an insurance agent, in Riverside,Sac.,Stkn., & became a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. Bob retired in 2008, with more family time. Bob loved to joke, & be with friends and family. He liked to travel on family vacations, especially to visit relatives in Norway. He loved music & sports. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda, 2 children, Lynette (& Heath) and Eric (& Trish), & 2 granddaughters, Rachel and Miranda Renouf. Services will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 324 College Ave., Modesto, CA 95355, (209)523-4531, on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at 11:00am.
