Modesto, California - Sharon passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side after a long illness. She was born in San Jose. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School. After graduation, she went on to Campbell Beauty School. She owned several Hair Salons in San Jose & Livermore. Livermore is where she met the love of her life, Geno. They were married for 35 years. In 2000 they moved to Modesto.
In Modesto, Sharon started the Le Donne D'ilitalia club where she served as president & was an active member until she became ill. Sharon was known to be a "Jokester" to friends & family.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Geno, who took care of her with his love & support during her long illness. She is also survived by her son, Rick Cook (Shelley), her brother Tony Licata, her sister Audreene Ely, her step son Andy Marino & his family & many cousins & friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, paul & Trudy Licata, & her son Vicent. Sharon brightened up every room she entered. She will be greatly missed by all. Due to Covid a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
