I was saddened to learn of the passing of Stan Beasley. I went to grammar school, high school, and Modesto JC with him. He was always a gentleman as well as a gifted athlete. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace Stan.

I grew up with Mr. Beasley's son Rick and knew the family well during the 70's. I was always excited to get coaching tips from him because he had such a great legacy in athletics. I clearly remember Rick & I working out together in the weight rooms at THS with his guidance and unending support. I was fortunate to have had him in that phase of my life and respected him for his kindness, generosity & sense of humor. My sincere condolences to Barbara, Rick, Shelly & Pam and the remainder of your extended family. We will all miss him but happy he is in a better place.
With deepest sympathies
