Dear Cheryl, Wade and Jennifer

I am deeply saddened to hear about Travis. My heart goes out to all of you. I am just so heart broken. He was such a lively little kid. I remember he was a little on the short side for his age. His wild hair do's did make him look a tad older. He was full of life and I remember he always kept you hopping. You are both really good parents and Jennifer was a great sister. Travis lived life to the fullest. He was a good looking kid with a beautiful smile. Treasure the memories forever. Again, my heart goes out to you and your family.

You’re in our prayers.

God Bless!

You guys might remember me but my name is Robert Gigl i lived down the street from you guys when you lived in Navy Housing. I saddens me to here that one of my best childhood friends has past. I now wished that i kept in touch with him, i remember the days when we would skateboard and play Playstation together. How do I begin to describe Travis? Energy is the first word that comes to mind. Passionate the second. A friend of mine dubbed him “Extreme Travis” because of his high energy and his great passion for all things exciting. I will always remember that tremendously wonderful smile and those twinkling eyes peeking out from under those bangs!

I didn't succeed in teaching him Spanish but he succeeded in bringing a smile to my face many times. I wouldn't be surprised if after some time in Heaven, he runs into my son, Justin, and asks him if all those stories he had to endure were true. The two of them will laugh. I am looking forward to the time when I can laugh together with them both.

Dear Jenny, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Look up for that is where your help comes from.

To the Ingrams:

I'm so sorry about Travis. I know we don't know each other well, but I know that we'll all miss Travis dearly. He had a way of making people smile. I'll never forget him.

Sometimes things happen and we don't know why, but already I can see God working in others' lives because of Travis' absence. I really wish he were still with us, but I bet he's having a blast in heaven. Please know that everything will be alright. My prayers are with you guys.

Sincerely,

My amazing one & only Travis Ingram,
Something in you has grown in me. & that is the meaning of living life to the fullest extent.
It felt like yesterday i was interviewing you for the school newspaper & writing everything about you. Your favorite memory, putting blue paint on Juan's lunch crackers. You're favorite combination of food: Spaghetti with coffee. I always told you that was the worse combination in the world. But just the other day i sat down and ate it & just thought of you Trav.
I'll always remember the memories we had in math class, & most of all i'll keep those notes with me forever.
I loved everything about you, you were reckless, but you were even more precious.
You made me smile in class when skys were gray.
& i always tried to cheer you up when you moped was stolen, i said you would get it back, that it would be okay. But i guess we never found it. Maybe I'll find it somewhere, and just think about all that it meant to you.
I'll always remember the "candies", & i still wonder where that surfer board lighter I gave you is. Covering up for you in class when you were late, i had gotten use to that. ;)
You were a blessing to me from the Lord, & i know you're watching over me right now. Somewhere up there, so just let God know i said hi.
Those notes you wrote me i've kept them all. My prized possessions, some of my last written memories of you.
I thank the Lord for your presence in my life...you will always have a place in my heart Travis Ingram!
Your one & only,
Preet

Cheryl, Wade and Jennifer,
Words can not describe the sadness I feel in my heart over your loss. Please know myself and Tyler mourn for you here in Florida. Losing a loved one is never an easy task. But take comfort in knowing Shirley and Cheryl's Father were there waiting for Travis with open arms.

Christ blesses us with such vivid memories that we may take any memory we've made with a loved one...close our eyes and be there again if only for a moment. Find strength in that. Know that Travis is still alive through you and in your heart.

*Love never dies....it never fade's...and continue's to grow beyond death.*

In lieu of flowers I have made a donation to the Sorvino Asthma Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to educate people about asthma, help those afflicted in controlling it, as well as to serve as a launch pad to other sites containing asthma related services.

Take care and God Bless!
