Modesto, California - Wayne Harold Earle, age 83, passed away on October 23, 2023, in Modesto, CA. He was born on August 13, 1940. Wayne was a dedicated man who always put his family first.
Wayne served in the Army National Guard from 1959 to 1967. He proudly served his country and exemplified the values of honor and commitment.
In his professional life, Wayne was a Shop Steward for Teamsters Union Local 748 for many years. He began his career with Del Monte Corp. and later worked with Silgan Containers for over 40 years. His hard work and dedication made him a respected member of the workforce.
Outside of work, Wayne had a passion for bowling and played on various teams throughout his life. He was also a member of Parents Without Partners, where he met his beloved wife, Peggy.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 37 years, Peggy Earle, along with his children Gregory Earle, Melissa Card, Chad Earle, and Brian Earle. He was a loving grandfather to his 5 grandchildren. Wayne also leaves behind nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Emil Earle, his mother, Estella Earle, his brothers, Quintin Earle and Marlow Earle, and his sisters, Lenore Miller and Maxine Butler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at his home, where family and friends will gather to honor Wayne's memory and share stories of his remarkable life.
Wayne Harold Earle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
