William Kline Obituary
November 17, 1956 - March 21, 2023
Waterford, California - It is with great sadness and sorrow that we say goodbye to one of the most dedicated and hard- working farmers and appreciated friend the Central Valley has ever come to know.
William Sheldon Kline, (Shelly) 66, of Waterford, California, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2023.
Sheldon was born on November 17, 1956, to Bill and Eunice Kline. After Shel graduated from Oakdale High School in 1975, he continued to work for his family farm. He then married Sharlyn Carlton and had his two sons, Adam and Kris Kline. He later took over the ownership of his father's trucking route for the U.S. Mail, working both jobs. He created his own mechanical fruit harvesting business and assisted with the family farm. He was able to buy into and develop KK&C Ranch on Tim Bell with his Father and Father-in-Law. He was later able to take on the whole ranch and make it Kline Ranch along with working the family farm on Wellsford. He worked in excess of 100 hours a week with farming during the day and driving truck at night. Those in the farming business admired his work ethic and skills.
Even though his work schedule was so demanding, he enjoyed spending time with his Sons and Grandchildren either hunting, snow skiing or the occasional barbeque. He never found time to retire but did take time for the important things in life, his family and friends.
Sheldon was predeceased by his father, Bill Kline and second wife, Lynn Riddle Kline. He is survived by his two Sons, Adam Kline, Kris Kline, his daughter-in-law, Devin Kline, their mother, Sharlyn Kline-Gomes, his mother Eunice Kline, Grandsons, Payton Kline, Adam Kline Jr, Brady Kline, Granddaughters Paige and Delilah Kline, sisters, Kim Rose and Cami Kline-Pratt, brother David Kline, nieces, Chelsea Cabral, Emily Kline and Abigail Kline, and nephew Spencer Rose. Ex-wife and companion, Theresa Kline. His Stepchildren, Daniel Rollins, Macy Gomes, Michael Gomes, Jordan Callahan, Lance MacDonald, Hunter MacDonald
Celebration of Life will be held at Waterford Almond Huller, 12013 El Pomar Ave, Waterford, CA 95386 on April 15, 2023, at 2pm.

Dave Kline & family, Passing by
The farm on Wellsford all these years watching it evolve was comforting. Seeing the dedication from one who clearly took pride in his work holding tight to family traditions and values. Such a sad loss. The separation hurts but God promises it will be temporary. Hold tight to the knowledge you will meet again someday soon. Praying for you and your family that you will find strength and peace in the days ahead.

To Kim Rose and rest of the Kline family my most sincere sympathies. Kimmy I really enjoyed Your brothers company very much! The skin diving , the parties. the dancing, I'll never forget those wonderful times.
Where does the time go? Seems like we were all together Yesterday. As with so many people Shel will be missed but Never forgotten. For as long as you are remembered, you live forever!

So sorry to Eunice, Adam, Kris and entire Kline family. I have many great memories skiing with Shelly at Modesto Reservoir after work and snow skiing in the winters. Shelly had a great sense of humor and loved to kid people and tease his boys. RIP my friend.
