  William "Bill" Veneman, 59, of Livingston, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice after a 2 year battle with cancer. Bill was born in Modesto to Albert and Elizabeth (Fran) Veneman (deceased). Survived by his wife, Terri, preceded in death by his brother, John (Jack) Veneman, survived by sisters Barb Zichterman (Chris), Fran De Jong (Steve), Sue Veneman, Nancy Gangler (Brian), Jan De Jong (Carl) and sister-in-law Florence Veneman Van Klaveren as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill graduated from Ripon Christian High School in 1974 and continued to study in the Agriculture Dept. of Modesto Junior College. He continued working on his father's ranch after MJC. Bill worked as a ranch foreman for Sikma Family Walnut Orchards in Hilmar. Bill became a part of the Sikma family. Bill enjoyed motorcycles, classic cars, and model railroading. Anyone who came close to Bill was embraced by his warm and accepting nature. He truly was "Sweet William." Bill loved reading about American history such as the creation of the Panama Canal and the development of the United States west of the Mississippi during the mid-1800's. He was a student of all things agricultural from orchards to vegetable gardens, and every plant thrived under his care.  Remembrances may be made to the Alexander Cohen Hospice House, 2201 Euclid Avenue, Hughson CA 95326. Services will be held June 6th, 10 am, at Allen Mortuary, 247 N Broadway, Turlock CA 95380.
