RONALD RICHARDS Obituary
Ron Richards, age 75, a 50-year resident of Needles, Calif., died Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Ron was born April 30, 1937, in Wray, Colorado.
Ron's life long career was with BNSF railroad where he loved his job as a Conductor. There wasn't a single day Ron dreaded going to work, he truly loved his job.
Many knew Ron for his love of scuba diving, photography, fishing, and traveling in his RV to Colorado, of course, with his wife Esther and dog Panda Bear, whom he loved dearly! After retiring from the railroad, Ron enjoyed attending his photography class and photography club.
Ron was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. Those who knew Ron could say nothing but nice things about him. Ron's presence and personality will be truly missed.
Ron is survived by his wife, Esther Richards, and his many children and grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Mable Richards, and sister, Barbara Michielsen.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012, at Dimond and Sons, in Needles Calif.
Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Needles.
