Bonnie Schuberg

1938 - 2018

Bonnie Lynne Schuberg, 79, of Monroe passed away at 9:30 p.m. January 20, 2018, at Medilodge of Monroe.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family dinner, celebrating her life, is being held at her favorite restaurant, Angelo's Northwood Villa.
Born July 7, 1938 in Big Rapids, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Victor Oscar and Esther Jeanette (Hanson) Franck. Bonnie attended Big Rapids High School, graduating with the class of 1956.
She married her high school sweetheart and loving husband of sixty years, John Edward Schuberg, June 21, 1958, in Big Rapids, Michigan. Bonnie was known for her kind heart and was a loving and caring mother. She always had a positive outlook on life and loved animals. Bonnie's passion from a young age was ice skating.
She was a homemaker for most of her adult life, but enjoyed working in the family Harness Horse Racing business with her beloved husband.
To cherish her memory, Bonnie leaves her husband, John; three children, Ted (Tieme) Schuberg of Hesperia, Michigan; Troy (Angela) Schuberg of Seacrest, Florida and Holly Smith of Perrysburg, Ohio; three brothers: Kurt Franck, Mark (Melodee) Franck and Dan Franck; and four grandchildren: Eric Schuberg, Wade Schuberg, Cameron Smith and Chloe Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esther.
Memorial contributions in Bonnie's memory are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
