Elizabeth Ness Obituary
Liz's passing was exactly as she would have wanted it to be. Just relaxing in bed, fresh from a shower and scoping out some of her favorite tv shows to watch. Chilling and waiting for her niece Audrina (Her pride and joy) to come visit. Snuggling with Audrina was such a treat for her and only made it better if her two beloved puppies (Peanut and NeNe) was on her lap too.
Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 2-8 PM. She will lie in state on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, from 10 AM until the services at 11 AM. Pastor Ted Kerr will officiate. Cremation will occur after.
Liz was called the animal whisperer by many with her love and ability to help calm and care for animals of any kind. Her biggest dream in life was to become part of an animal sanctuary. Our Liz was funny, bright and giving. She had a great big heart for animals. She was always bringing in stray, well anything, home to nurture back to health. One of Liz's most cherished things in her life was being reunited with her birth mother, Vicki Grames and uncle Stan Grames. Their times together was amazing and lay very special on her heart.
Liz was born on October 15, 1988 (Sweetest Day) and was the beloved daughter of Paul and Marilyn Ness, sister of Marissa (Gary) Simmons, niece Audrina Simmons. Grandparents John Ness and Ethel Cooley. Aunts and Uncles and many friends too numerous to count. Greeting Liz in heaven is her grandmother Pauline Ness, grandfather, Roger Cooley, uncle Roger Cooley and adored nephew (G) Gary Simmons III. And it's our guess that she is smiling from ear to ear as they are reunited in Heaven.
In keeping with Liz's passion in life, anyone wishing to make memorial donation are encouraged to consider the Devoted Barn, 6227 North Dixie Hwy, Newport, MI 48144.

So sorry to hear of this terrible loss. Liz spent countless hours at my house with my kids when the were younger. She was a very sweet young lady and will be missed ❤
