Gary Bergmooser Obituary
Born on November 7, 1938, in Carleton, Michigan, he was the son of the late Arthur and Viola (Blanchett) Bergmooser. On October 21, 1961, he married Paulette Oehlers in St. Marys Catholic Church in Monroe.
Gary graduated from Airport High School in 1956. Gary served in the U.S. Army and was called back with the Reserves during the Berlin Crisis. He was a barber for 12 years, after attending Greens Barber School and obtaining his license in 1960.
He was later employed with Ford Motor Co. as a truck driver for 25 years, until retiring in 1997.
Gary was a member of Carleton Sportsman's Club. He also belonged to the North South Skirmish Association, which was a competitive black powder shooting club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, spending time at his cabin in Lewiston and with his grandson, Mark.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Bergmooser; mother, Viola Rose Bergmooser; brother, Robert Bergmooser, brother, Ronald Bergmooser and brother, David Bergmooser,
He is survived by his wife, Paulette C. Bergmooser of Carleton, MI; son, Scott Bergmooser of Monroe, MI; daughter Kellie (Craig) Klingel of Brownstown, MI; and grandson, Mark Klingel, Brownstown Michigan. He is also survived by brother, Richard Bergmooser of Romulus, brother, Glen Bergmooser of Coldwater, brother, Ray (Carolyn) Bergmooser of Carleton; sister, Bonita Chinavare of FL; sister-in-law, Linda Bergmooser of Carleton, MI; and many nephews and nieces.
Friends may visit in the Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
