Matthew Ott Obituary
Mr. Ott was the son of Fern (Lyke/Ott) Hamel and Richard Ott, both former residents of Monroe and graduates of MHS; Fern (Lyke) Hamel is a former employee of The Monroe Evening News.
Matthew leaves behind, in addition to his parents, brothers Stephen Ott of Baltimore, Md., and Christopher Ott and his wife, Addie, of Fairfax, Va.; an aunt, Rena (Lyke) Morgan; uncles Ralph Lyke and his wife Fon and Ray Lyke and his wife Jo, all of Monroe; John Ott and his wife Jan of Pinconning, Mich.; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an aunt, Eula (Lyke) Sparks, and two uncles, Roger and Ronald Lyke.
A celebration of life was held for Matthew on Jan. 28 in Columbia, Md.
