Robin Renee McKee

1968 - 2016

Robin Renee Ormsbee was born on June 28, 1968 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Charley and Laura (Hughes) Ormsbee. She attended Bellevue Schools.
Robin moved to the Monroe area from Battle Creek in 2006. She received her spiritual nourishment by attending Redeemer Fellowship Church in Monroe.
She married Kevin McKee. Robin was not blessed with children of her own, but she was a blessing to others by being a mother figure to many. She enjoyed making others laugh, had an extremely caring nature, and her happy-go-lucky personality was enjoyed by everyone who had the pleasure to know her.
Robin enjoyed traveling and had visited many different places. The shores of Lake Michigan were a favorite place to visit and none other than South Haven, Michigan, was her ideal destination. Robin loved the outdoors and camping was to her a favorite pastime.
Robin Renee McKee, age 48, of Monroe passed away at 11:32 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. In addition to her father her passing was preceded by two husbands.
To cherish her memory, Robin leaves her husband: Kevin McKee of Monroe; her mother: Laura McKee of Bellevue; one sister: Lisa Burton; two brothers: Mark Ormsbee and James Ormsbee; a longtime friend: Carson Ray White of Monroe; three nieces, and one nephew.
Friends may gather on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from noon to 2 p.m. at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 2 p.m., also at Merkle's.
