Ruby Palmer Obituary
Family and friends may call from 12 to 3 pm Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3 pm. Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Cremation will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born August 30, 1947 in Lewisburg, Tennessee she was the daughter of John Henry and Mable (Colbert) Reeves. She married Theadorous D. Palmer Sr. on March 5, 1972 in Monroe. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1995.
Ruby was employed by various Monroe area restaurants as a cashier for many years.
She enjoyed two mile walks every day, family summer trips to the beach and family cookouts.
Surviving are her children Everett Reeves of Jackson and Samantha (Chris) McBee of Monroe; grandchildren Hailey McBee, Angela Palmer, Gage McBee, Zachary Palmer, Logan Palmer, Merissia McBee and Dakota Palmer; daughter-in-law Christie Palmer of Toledo and Becky Owens of Monroe mother of Ian and Angela Palmer.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theadorous; son Daniel Palmer and grandson Ian Palmer.
