CAPTAIN LUTHER ELLINGSON U.S. Navy Captain Luther J. Ellingson (Lou), 80, formerly of Eden Prairie passed away on October 4, 2025, in Montevideo. A brief military service will be held at 9 a.m. on October 31, 2025, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Family and friends should gather at 8:50 a.m. at Assembly area 2 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will occur afterwards from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at VFW, Post 425, 100 Shady Oak Road, Hopkins. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to VFW, Post 425, Hopkins or Lewy Body Dementia Association (lbda.org). Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
