He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth J. Wade; wife, Tina C. Cockcroft; brothers, John Bryant Cockcroft and Richard Cockcroft; and stepchildren, Joey McAllister, Nathan McAllister, Davidson Harley, Michelle Harley; nieces, Jessica Cockcroft, Nicole Cockcroft; and nephew, Travis Cockcroft.
A Celebration of Life will be held at All Saints' Episcopal Church, Dolores and Ninth in Carmel on July 14, 2014 at 1:30pm.
Donations may be made to the Carmel Bach Festival, P.O. Box 575, Carmel, CA 93921 or to All Saint's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1296, Carmel, CA 93921.

David became my son when I married his father, John Bryant Cockcroft, Jr., deceased, fifty two years ago.
My memories of David are treasures of a gentle soul who loved his family. He shared a passion for music with his brother Richard, which brought them both great joy.
Richard and Jennifer's children; David James, Catherine Grace, and Nathan John, loved their uncle and remember him with affection.
David will live in our hearts always.
