Diane Morgan

1944 - 2023

Diane Marie (Firetag) Morgan, 78, of Pacific Grove, passed away peacefully at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, February 15 2023. She was born on March 7, 1944, in Arlington, Mass., to Florence (Clarke) and William Firetag. She was raised in New York City, Woodland Hills, and Tustin, Calif. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael Morgan, her son Michael Jr., of Kent Island, Md., and her granddaughter, Julia Morgan of Annapolis, Md. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Jr. (Billy). Diane was a talented stained glass and needlepoint artist, an avid reader, and a great cribbage partner. She had a fierce love for her family and pets, a wonderful laugh and sense of humor, and the sweetest disposition. She is deeply missed by her loved ones. The family requests that donations be made in her memory to the SPCA of Monterey County.
