Dolores P. Olivo (Lola), age 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Watsonville Community Hospital on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
She was born December 16th, 1917, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus and Luz Perez. Lola married Nicolas L. Olivo and in 1944 they moved to the Monterey Peninsula to start their new lives together. A Mother and homemaker, Dolores raised four children and had a passion for arts & crafts including Sewing, Crocheting, and Piñata making. She also had a great love for music and dance.
Survivors include her brother Robert Perez, and her children Rosalinda Hurley, Nick P. Olivo, Luis P. Olivo, and Kelly Krohe. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her husband Nicolas, her son Martin Olivo, her brothers Juan Perez, Orencio Perez, Luis Perez, and sister Maria Perez.
A visitation will be held Thurs. April 16th from 3pm-9pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. Her Funeral is Sat. April 18th at 11am followed by burial. All services will take place at Seaside Funeral Home at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. in Seaside.

Lola was one of the sweetest person I knew. She had such a beautiful smile and tender soul. She also had a young spirit and love to dance. She will be greatly missed!
