Eileen Gleasure Bradshaw
Sept. 10, 1921 – Apr. 9, 2015
Monterey and Salinas, CA
Eileen was one of six first children born to Irish Immigrants in Boston, MA. She served as a Lieutenant in the Navy Nurse Corps (WWII) from 1943 to 1946. After receiving her BS in Nursing ED from Boston College (class of 1952) she participated in various nursing positions in Massachusetts, Louisiana, Hawaii, Washington State and California for 42 years before retiring.
Received B Arts from San Jose State and Santa Clara Jr. College and enjoyed a lifelong dream of painting, sculpture, and needlecrafts.
She is survived by her son Paul W. Bradshaw lll, nephews and nieces in Vietnam, Germany, Massachusetts, California, New Hampshire and the Bahamas.
She passed away in the Herman Health Care Center in San Jose after living life to its fullest under God's love as she prayed and meditated each day.
Funeral and burial services will be held in June at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Maynard, MA by her nephews and nieces.
