Elaine Flinn Obituary
March 3, 1939 ~ October 25, 2008
CARMEL - Elaine Flinn succumbed to cancer at age 69 on October 25, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, along with five children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and her many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Although Elaine was born in Oakland, CA on March 3, 1939, she spent the better part of her last 35 years in Carmel. She owned and operated Del Monte Building Services with her husband and youngest daughter.
Additionally, she spent years in the art and antiques business as the owner of Claybourne's. Her experiences were the inspiration that culminated in the fulfillment of a life-long dream of becoming a published author, penning the award-winning series, "A Molly Doyle Mystery," set on the Monterey Peninsula.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts!
There will be a Mass Intention at noon on June 28, 2009 at San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey.

Les and I just recently learned about Elaine's passing. She was our neighbor in Las Palmas. Knowing her and reading her books was always a delight. We were saddened by the news and wish to extend our sympahty to the family. You are in our hearts.
