I am just so sad to hear about Jay! During Measure J, he was one of the most dedicated volunteers, walking the whole DRO precinct to get people to vote yes. I was the coordinator for Seaside and DRO, and he was in there getting walk lists as soon as he finished one. He was totally dedicated, very kind and generous. I did not even know he was a minister! And what an interesting, fulfilling and spiritual life he led. I now also know he was involved as well with Measure O and was a water warrior from the start! I had hoped to celebrate with him once we had bought out Cal Am. I have thought of him often and that he really should have gotten an award for all his work. I will hang on to knowing that he has now achieved a much higher status in the peace, love and light of the Divine. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and close circle.

Jay was a long time Public Water Now volunteer. He was active from the beginning with Measure O in 2014 and helped us pass Measure J in 2018 to buyout Cal Am and put our water under community control. He will be missed. I´m sure he will be watching over us and lending a hand from the other side as we continue the fight.
All our condolences to his family. It´s very sad to lose such a man.

Jay is a very special person who will enjoy a special place with the Fatber and in our hearts. We meet so few of these people in a lifetime and those who were touched by Jay in this life are truly blessed. Thank you, Jay, for being you and being a truly special person!
