I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father. My mother, Mary Jeanne Brandon Clark Leggitt was your dads cousin. My mother always spoke highly of your father. I had the pleasure of meeting your dad a couple of times and enjoyed being around him. I have thought of him often and just spoke of him last week.
I understand the heartache you all are going though having lost both my parents.

I am sorry that it was too long, and then too late to see you. I occasionally look at that picture of you with Jordan and Bo standing next to that giant rabbit. It always gives me a chuckle. You were too far away, but still had such an impact on your grandchildren. We all enjoyed tales from your adventures in life and your legacy will most definitely live on. Thank you for having touched our lives and accepted us into your family. Your kindness was and will be payed forward.

My sincerest condolences to the Wachter family. It was a pleasure and honor to have met John and to spend time with him and Dottie. He was so proud of his contributions to his community and country. He will be truly missed.

God bless you Grandpa. You were a great man. Just in these last 10 years of getting to know you has been a blessing. I pray that I can be half the man that you were. We will see each other again someday.
