Time goes by to fast. My heart aches for The Aiello family with such great losses to a family that is so kind and giving, loving and caring. It doesn't seem fair but only the good Lord knows the big plan and will comfort us as we try to comfort each other. May Christ continue to be by your side and comfort you in times of trouble, just never give up. Tell happy stories of the ones we lost and keep their memories happy and alive. I love you all so deeply.

Sincerely,
Kim Kezeli

Alvarado Street will never be the same. I walked by the jewelry store many times over the past few years and often had a wave, smile and sometimes a chat with Joe - such an interesting guy and so engaged in promoting the welfare of his beloved city. My condolences to his family.

I met Joseph a few months ago and introduced myself to him, that I used to work with his mother Anna at PacBell. We talked for a few minutes and I got the impression he was a very nice man. It is shocking to hear that he passed away.. I only heard the news from a friend who checks the obituary at the Herald on line.

I would like to extend my condolences, sympathy and prayers to Anna and to the whole family.

May Joseph Rest In Peace. God bless him

Joe was passionate about quite a few things but the top four in any order were: the Old Monterey Business Association, the San Carlos Cathedral, playing the trumpet and talking politics whether it was on the local, regional or national level. We had an easy friendship, we usually greeted each other with a hug as I am apt to do and I am thankful for that. Joe was a kind, caring man and he will be missed by many, many people. I am but one of those many.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. His memory will live on in all of us.

To the Aiello family, my deepest heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. You are part of my family and always been so kind to me. I pray you find some comfort in knowing Joe is being reunited with his father and being with the lord. Joe was a very stand up citizen of Monterey and a great son and brother. May he rest in peace eternally from now on, no more pain. I am and always be here for you if any of you need anything.

When I moved to Monterey I stopped into his shop on alverado st because we shared a last name. He was very welcoming and was very happy to tell me about the community and his politics. I chatted with him on Facebook and said he wanted to get back to the shop because it's been his priority since 1987 with ending the conversation "be proud that your an Aiello". He will be missed.
