Loma and I shared over 40 years of our lives, being competitors against each other, being team partners for 17 years against all comers, playing golf every Monday, going out to dinner together, debating the politics of MPCC (we always agreed with each other) and making an effort to improve it, sharing the fun experience of our yearly trips to HI and much more. We respected each other tremendously, and accepted each other for what we were. If friends love each other, we did just that.

In the years that she could no longer share golf and life with me, it was devastating to see her so restricted by her failing body. It changed my life experience in Pebble Beach, and broke my heart.
