Uncle Roland ,

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Everytime you came to my house you would give me a big hug and say to me "Where's the football at? Let's go outside and throw it around". I MISS THAT !!! I miss you comming over to my house to BBQ with daddy and cousin's.My mom says when we see each other again in heaven we can play football and BBQ EVERDAY!! I don't really understand why you had to leave so soon but I know we will be together again one day. So until then Uncle Roland ...I MISS YOU and LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH !!!

Roland was such a good person, I knew him since middle school. I saw him a few months ago, and he was telling me about his beautiful wife and children and how happy he was. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Roland,

Thanks for always being that older brother and mentor. I will take all the advice you've always given me and make you very proud of me. I've always had to ask family to come out and watch me play baseball and Moms use to always get mad at me for asking! But you were the only one I never had to ask. I'll miss you asking, "Josh! When is your next game?" And then always following up on your promise. It meant so much to see you at my games. I promise to take care of my Moms and stay in school and be a man of great character just like you. And I promise to go and watch Ami and Naki at their sporting events, just like you were there for me. I'm so sorry you had to leave us so soon, but I know everything happens for a reason. With deepest sympathy to Driza and the kids. Love Always, Josh

For those of us who have been blessed to have Roland in their lives, I think his sudden passing has taught us a great deal on not only the importance of life, but love in its own form. Life is too short and too sweet to waste it on arguments and fights over things of less or no importance. U never kno how great a deal life is til u lose someone so dear to the heart. My condolences to Driza and their kids family.....wish I knew the right words to say.....all so sudden...and unexpected. Dats life I guess....expect the unexpected. Never had the chance to say goodbye. It's hard to let go, but I know our God is an awesome God!!! We should praise him in the good and in the bad, even wen if it may seem unfair!! We should learn to thank Him for each breath we take and each new day wen we awake. It's hard to appreciate sumthin til it's not there anymore, and I think we have all learned that from Roland's sudden passing. I extend my condolences to his family. I won't say I know how u feel, but I know it must hurt real bad. Fresh love is so sweet, and I'd like to think that Roland was happy that u gave him that piece of happiness. So smile!!! We should all smile!! God is good!!! Rest In Peace My Friend...
