ELMER KELLY Obituary

KELLY, Mr. Elmer, 81, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Han-kins officiating. Interment will follow with Masonic Rites at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Ellison Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eddie Lou Lewis Kelly, Wetumpka, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pam Kelly, Wetumpka, AL; two granddaughters, Michelle (Chad) Davidson and Sandi Kelly, both of Wetumpka, AL; two great-grand-children, Brady and Taylor David-son, Wetumpka, AL and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Haynes and a granddaught-er, Kasey Kelly. Active Pallbearers will be the nephews. Mr. Kelly will lie in state one hour at the church prior to the time for services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ellison Funeral Home. Mr. Kelly was a veteran and retired from Civil Service after 30 years of service. He also was a member of the We-tumpka Masonic Lodge #39 for 51 years having served in various posi-tions including Grand Master. Mr. Kelly was a longtime Funeral Direc-tor in Wetumpka, AL, having worked for Evans Brown Service Fu-neral Home, Campbell Brown Ser-vice Funeral Home and Ellison Fu-neral Home.
