Stone, Mrs. Gloria Jean, age 74, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on November 15, 2014 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 11 am from Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Nathan Attwood officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Gardens. She was born in Panama City, FL. where she attended Bay Co. High School. Mrs. Jean was a true southern lady, she showed unconditional love and support to each of her family members and anyone she can in contact with. Her compassion was demonstrated through the families that entrusted her with the care of their loved ones and the lives she touched. She was a licensed Alabama Funeral Director, an organized, efficient and dependable secretary for both Ellison Funeral Home, Wetumpka, AL and latest, Brookside Funeral Home, Millbrook, AL where she worked for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Versie and Georgia Kent, son, Kent Jackson Presnell, brother, Ricky L. Kent, great grandson, Dylan Williams. Her legacy and memories will forever be cherished by her husband, Joe Stone of Millbrook, AL; daughter, Leslie Presnell of Wetumpka, AL; sons, Mark (Cindy) Presnell of Wetumpka, AL; and Clark ( Lourdes) Presnell of Springfield, VA; sisters, Ann (Tony) McCartha of Coosada, AL; Margie (Tommy) Lane of Panama City, FL; brother, Charles (Julie) Kent of Marianna, FL; grandchildren, Mark Presnell Jr., Miles Presnell, Kyle Presnell, Natalie Presnell, Courtney Smith, Brittney Davis, Lindsey Murphy, Logan Whitworth; great-grandchildren, Marlee Presnell, Ryver Presnell Imogen Presnell, Oliver Presnell, Hunter Smith, Brayden Smith, Chandler Smith, Skylee Smith, Danielle Smith, Brody Smith and Emma Lou Murphy. Pallbearers will be Tom Lane, David Lane, Justin Kent, Eric Kent, Kenny Stiles and Charles Kent Jr. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 9:30 to 11 am at the funeral home.
