JAMES BLAKE Obituary

BLAKE, James F., 'Fred', 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died March 21, 2002 at home after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. from Leak-Memory Chapel with Dr. Greg Belser and Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. He is survivied by his devoted wife of 68 years, Edna B. Blake; three children, Barbara Blake Nelson (Obie) of Tampa, FL, Melba Blake Walker (Pete) of Montgomery, AL and James E. Blake (Jayne) of Montgomery, AL; seven grandchildren, Melissa Faulk, Keith Walker, Wes Blake, Kyle Blake, Jane Martinez, Dean Nelson and Debbie Rebello and four great-grandchildren. Fred served his country in the Army during World War II. Memorials may be made to the Morningview Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Dean Nelson, Keith Walker, Thomas Martinez, Wes Blake, Jody Martinez, Kyle Blake and David Faulk. Honorary Pallbearers will be T. J. Boddie, Roy Boddie and Bud Russell.
