JOSEPHINE WEAVER Obituary

WEAVER, Josephine Pettey, age 68, and loving daughter of the late Ollie & Mary Pettey, also a mother of the late Steven Douglas Weaver and a Montgomery resident since 1967 passed away late Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in a local hospital following an extended illness. Jo was a bridal consultant to many couples in the Montgomery area from 1969 until opening her own antiques business in the Mulberry District, where she befriended untold numbers of loving and cherished personal and business friends throughout the Southeast. Montgomery visitation will be Friday, February 15th between 5 and 7 p.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Decatur, Ala, with services provided by Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation in Decatur will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. with graveside service immediately following. Jo is survived by one son, Kim Stuart Weaver, Montgomery, Ala.; two sisters: Betty Rollins, Hartselle, Ala, & Pat Pickens, Pensacola, FL; a brother, John Pettey, Fayetteville, Tenn. She is also survived by Susan Davis, the 'daughter of her heart' and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Mike Pugh, Keith Pickens, Jeff Maybe, Tony Rollins, Bob McAllister, Anthony Davis, George Olsson, and Dan Cross. Leak-Memory Chapel directing
