LOTTIE REESE Obituary

REESE, Mrs. Lottie Ellen Montgomery, was born in Butler County, Alabama, October 10, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Epps C. and Lucile Montgomery. She departed this life Saturday, November 24, 2001 at her home in Honoraville, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. from Union Baptist Church with Rev. L. C. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Southside Mortuary Directing. She confessed christ at an early age. At the New Hope Baptist Church. She later united with the Union Baptist Church, where she was a devoted choir member and Eastern Star member Lodge 280 until her health fell her. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Ned Reese. To this union three children was born two preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Ned Reese, two sons and two daughters, Mr. Johnny (Ester) Reese, Honoraville, Alabama, Mrs. Betty (Tommy) Bedgoof, Greenville, Alabama, Mrs. Nettie (Rosevelt) Hurd, Detroit, Michigan; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Emma Reese, Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Edna Reese, Greenville, Alabama; a former son-in-law, Mr. Willie Gene Mack; three aunts, Mrs. Fannie Hall, Etta Lee Montgomery and Mrs. Willie Bell Rawlings; one uncle, Mr. Eli Montgomery; 30 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, two special friends, Mrs. Bennel Shanklin and Mrs. Clara Wilkersons.
