Martha Claire lived in Yorktown and Gloucester, Virginiafrom 1948 until moving backto Tallassee in 1967 and hasresided there since.She requested her body bedonated to the University ofAlabama in Birmingham forresearch, as her husbandhad done.Family visitation will be heldon Monday, March 24 at EastTallassee Methodist Churchfrom 5 to 8. A Memorial Service will be held at the churchon Tuesday, March 25, 2008at 1 pm with Rev. Jay Woodall conducting. Life Achievements: MarthaClaire taught elementaryschool for 35 years in both Virginia and Tallassee, AL. Shealso taught piano lessons until 2 years ago. She was anactive member of East Tallassee Methodist Church, playing piano and directing thechoir for 35 years.
