PHILLIP GLENN Obituary

GLENN, Mr. Phillip Jr. (Phil Good), a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2001 at the home of his niece. Homegoing celebration is Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Stephen Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Boyd, officiating and Rev. Thomas Jackson, Pastor. Burial will be held at Oakwood Annex Cemetery. He is survived by an estranged wife, Mattie Glenn; one devoted sister, Mary Pettus; one grandson, Kenneth Blackman; three great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Sandy Smith (James), Deidra Bass (Reginald), Cookie Moore (Joe); four nieces, Jackie Pettus, Ella Miller (Tommy), Hilda Pettus, Joetter Pettus, Brender Glenn; two nephews, Anthony Pettus and Gene Pettus; two devoted cousins, Judge Robert Glass, Waterbury, Connecticut and Pearlie Smith (Walter); devoted friends, Tommy Ross (Phyllis), Jettie Franklin, Jane Morgan, Calvin Knight, Roxie Jones (John), Ida Cade, John Ross and Morris Sales; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and blessed with many friends. Processional will leave from 1568 Westcott St. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service.
