MSG. Sam Anderson Sr., heard the Master's voice saying "Well done thy good and faithful servant" on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at a local hospital. Celebration of Life: Noon Saturday, May 7 at Southlawn Baptist Church, 5340 Mobile Hwy, Pastor D'Linell Finley, celebrant. Interment: Forest Hill Cemetery. You may visit Mr. Anderson Friday from Noon to 9pm at the Funeral Home.

His welcoming smile and personality will never be forgotten. There was never a time when he wasn't wearing that smile. He wore his walk with God in his everyday life, not just on Sunday. Thank you God, for letting all of us share some of that space.

Marge & Candi, I was so sorry to hear about Sam's passing. He was such a joyful person. I loved listening to his stories. He also was great supporter of the Montgomery Baptist Association. He loved his church and had a great heart for missions. But his first love was for his Lord and Savior, followed by His love for his family! He was a good example of a godly husband and father to his children. He will be greatly missed. You all are in my prayers.
Isaiah 54:5 was a great comfort to me when my husband died. I hope it brings peace to your heart, my dear friend!
