THIEMONGE, Ms. Sarah SueSmith, 71, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, passedaway peacefully onWednesday, November 30,2011. Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 at2:00 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m., officiatedby Rev. Michael B. RockSmith, both at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumpka. Born November 6,1940, in Houston, Texas, Ms.Thiemonge was predeceased by her parents,Connie Lee Ballard Smithand Bennie Oliver Smith.She is survived by children,Connie E. Thiemonge andFrank L. Thiemonge, IV(Anna Berezovskaya) andtwo grandsons, Alexanderand Nicholas; brother,Bruce Lee Smith (Martha),nieces Lee Ann (Ed) Razickand Holley (James ôTreyö)Taylor and their children,as well as a host of friends.She spent her last 18 working years at Maxwell AirForce Base. A devoutChristian, she sang in thechoir at Young Meadowsand Memorial Presbyterianchurches. She also playedpiano, enjoyed flower gardening and doting on herbeloved dogs. In lieu offlowers, donations may bemade to the Alzheimer'sDisease Center at UAB,Sparks Center, Suite 350,1530 3rd Ave South, Birmingham, AL 35294, or toComfort Care Hospice ofWetumpka, 629 Coosa River Parkway, Wetumpka, AL36092. The family wouldlike to acknowledge andexpress grateful appreciation to the outstanding staffand caregivers at Angelsfor the Elderly Assisted Living Homes in Montgomery,and at Wetumpka Healthand Rehabilitation.
