VIVIAN PICKENS SIMMONS

SIMMONS, Vivian Pickens, a resi-dent of John Knox Manor, Mont-gomery, AL, and a native of Owas-sa, AL, died Monday, August 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Simmons, a sister, Irma Cunningham, and a brother, Clayton Pickens. She is sur-vived by her sisters, Gladys Camp-bell, Williamsburg, VA, Mae Hollo-way, Montgomery, AL and broth-ers, Aubrey Pickens, Mobile, AL, Glenn Pickens, Montgomery, AL. Mrs. Simmons was a longtime member of Dalraida United Me-thodist Church and was active in vi-sitation and church affairs for a number of years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from Leak-Memo-ry Chapel with Rev. Fred Fuller and Rev. Stan Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Tyler, Tim Tyler, David Simmons, Phil Sim-mons, Eugene Cooner, Larry Pick-ens, Larry Puckett and Phillip Pel-ham.
