Carter; three sisters: Princella Carter, Detroit, MI.; Adrian Christ-burg, Montgomery, AL., and a de-voted and caring sister, Louella Marshall, Montgomery, AL.; two brothers: Arthur James Carter, Jr., Atlanta, GA.; and Gayle Edward Carter, Montgomery, AL.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cou-sins and friends.
