Frank T. Davidock

Frank T. Davidock of Sellersville, peacefully passed away in his sleep on July, 29, 2012, at the age of 64. He was the loving husband of Sharon (Shive) Davidock for 41 years, and son of the late Frank and Helen (Goyda) Davidock. Frank was born in Ringtown, PA, on October 3, 1947, but was raised in Perkasie and graduated from Pennridge HS in 1965. After completing a machining apprenticeship, he worked as a Machinist/Programmer at Pennfield Precision Inc. for 35 years and part-time at Geitz Machine for 2 years. Everyone knew Frank had a passion for music - especially, polkas. He played the accordion for over 55 years. In 1971 Frank started the band "The Occasions" which entertained for over 40 years. In his retirement, Frank also played solo as "Frank D on his Keys," and performed from Philadelphia to the Lehigh Valley. He loved entertaining. He brought joy to many and treasured the dancing, singing, and smiles he received in return. Frank imparted this passion for music to his children and grandchildren. One of Frank's lifelong hobbies and obsessions was trains. Every vacation had at least one train related adventure. To the grandchildren, no trip to Nana & Pop's house was complete without playing with the basement layout that rivaled some professional ones. Frank was an active parishioner at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Sellersville serving as an Usher, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister. Additionally, he was active in the Knights of Columbus for over 30 years serving as Membership Director, Deputy Grand Knight, and four separate terms as Grand Knight. Surviving with his wife are three sons, Steven Scott and his wife Karen of McMurray, Drew Alan and his wife Teri of Newton, NJ, and Peter John of Perkasie; daughter Lisa Ann and her husband Jon Sensinger of East Greenville; three grandchildren Emilia, Benjamin, and Shane; sister, Karen Shmihluk, of Kennedyville, MD; his "precious girls", dogs Casey and Winnie, and six grand-dogs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St., Sellersville, PA. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Inc., 606 Arch St., Perkasie, PA or 9:00 - 10:00 at Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Union Cemetery, Hilltown, PA.
