Duff Davidson Obituary
He was born on May 22, 1941, in Mankato, MN to Duff and Marceline Davidson. Duff grew up on a farm in Faribault and graduated from BA Academy High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army.
He spent his career working in the automobile industry, working at several dealerships throughout Minnesota. Duff retired from Gould Bros. Chevrolet in Monticello, MN, where he was the manager of the body shop for many years.
It was at work, where he met his wife. Duff married Evie Kojetin on April 19, 1996 and were married for 26 years and lived in Monticello for many years before buying a hobby farm in Askov, MN after retirement. After several years in Askov, Duff and Evie decided to move to warmer climate. They found a home with acreage near relatives in Marshall, AK. Finally moving back to Minnesota for good in 2016. During his time in Arkansas, Duff and Evie were very active in church and hospice volunteering to support the local community.
Duff is survived by his wife Evie; four children, Michelle Davidson, Duff Davidson Jr. (Natalie), Jim Davidson (Debbie), and Victoria Davidson; Evie's three children, David (Patty), Douglas (Teri), and Duane (Kay); siblings, Judy Austin, Patty Davidson, Denny Davidson, Mary Davidson, and Tony Davidson; and a combined 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Joanie Kuth, sister Sherry Anderson, brother-in-law Bob Anderson, brother-in-law David Austin, daughter-in-law, MaryKay Davidson and nephew Scott Austin.
Duff chose to donate his body to the University of Minnesota medical school for research. A family celebration will take place at a later time.
