Our dear mother Flora Sisneros, passed away, peacefully on October 25, 2024, at her home in Olathe, CO, surrounded by family.
Flora was born on October 6, 1930, to parents Geronimo and Rufina Garcia in Ojo Caliente, NM. Flora had six other siblings.
She lived her young life in Ojo Caliente, later married Cosme Sisneros on November 18, 1950, in Elko, NV. They were married for 42 years, until Cosme's passing on March 27, 1993.
Flora was a wonderful and loving mother to her children; Tony Sisneros, Elizabeth Phipps (Scottie), Cosme Sisneros (Vivian), Mary Perez (Mike), Jerry Sisneros (Pat), and Peggy Velasquez (Larry).
She had 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Flora enjoyed the company of her family, or anyone who would come by to visit. She possessed an incredible fighting spirit, a sharp mind, an unbelievable memory, and a great sense of humor, up until her passing.
She thoroughly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. In particular she enjoyed the visiting of her family with grandkids, friends, cooking and working outdoors in her yard. She will be very much missed by us all.
A Memorial Service for Flora will be held at Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main Street, Montrose, CO on Friday, November 1st at 10 a.m. A Graveside Service and Inurnment to follow at Olathe Cemetery in Olathe, CO.

Cosme, vivían and families, i like to send loving condolences to the family of Mrs. Sisneros I witnessed the deep love Cosme had for his mother just by the way he always referred to his mom. She will be missed by every member of her family.
