Paul Greene Obituary
Paul Francis Greene, 66, of Canton, formerly of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his residence.
Paul was a native of Suffolk County, N.Y., and a son of the late John Emmanuel and Martha Frances Cooke Greene.
He was a 1974 graduate of Harding High School in Charlotte. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been retired from the animal health industry for about five years. His passion was riding horses, and he had ridden for 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Paul Greene; one brother, John Marvin Greene; and a sister, Lora Greene Green.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Williams Greene; son, Court Greene (Kristi) of Canton; and four grandchildren, Katherine, Leah, Gideon, and Ezra.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 22, at The Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, with the Rev. Doctor Court Greene officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canton First Baptist Church General Fund, 208 Academy St., Canton, NC 28716.
The care of Mr. Greene has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton and an online memorial register is available at "Obituaries" at www.wellsfuneralhome.com.

I remember seeing Paul on the ZYMOX commercial! Probably the best commercial I´ve ever seen! Truly a great salesperson because I bought the product after I saw it! God bless you Paul you were the BEST! RIP

Jennifer- I am so sorry. Paul was one of my very favorite people and my first supervisor in my first foray into animal health. I will never forget his brash ways, his humor, his bad habits (that tobacco, oh dear) or his larger than life persona. He taught so many people so many things. He will be missed. I think of you often and hope you're well!

Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He was always such a character when he came in to our office at Paterson vet Supply. We always had a bunch of laughs with Paul. Thinking of you.
