Deborah Kay Dickson
July 26, 1959 - June 28, 2021
Deborah Kay Dickson, 61, of Morganton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 28, 2021, with our Lord by her side and in her life.
Born on Kodiak Island, Alaska, July 26, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Joe Tannery Dickson Sr. and Mary Jean Duke Dickson.
Deborah was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Morganton. The daughter of 30-year U.S. Navy veteran, her early childhood included much travel both domestic and international until moving to Burke County in 1970. Deborah was a devoted Christian with extended arms of love to everyone she met. She enjoyed writing, reading, music, animals, her friendships and family.
Deborah is survived by both her brothers, Henry Duke Dickson and Joe Tannery Dickson Jr.
Burial of the cremated remains will be at the foot of her mother and father at Burke Memorial Park. No services are planned for Deborah and those who wish are welcome to pay their respects to her at Burke Memorial Park.
