April 21, 1947 - March 21, 2023
Helen Smith White of Morganton, N.C., passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 22, 2023, after a long, bravely fought battle with cancer.
Born in Morganton, N.C. to the late Ray Smith and Dorothy Lane Smith, she graduated from Salem High School in 1965.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Bella Sessoms (Mac); three beloved grandchildren, Jackson, Colin and McKenna; brother, Michael Smith; husband, Willard; sister, Rebekah Smith; and niece, Brenda Moser (Greg).
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Sandra Lane Smith.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Darren Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The SECU Family House - Winston Salem.

Willard, Bella and sweet family ,Dennis and I heartbroken at this news...... Lord, how we loved her and Dennis´s mom,Bobbie loved her too... she lit up a room!! The Laughter we shared at work, and the memories will last a lifetime.. Willard , she loved you beyond words!!! Bella, she sure Loved you and those babies! Know that we are keeping each of you in our prayers and Heaven just got a little sweeter!!!!
